eBay listing tool and inventory sync

Elbuz works as an eBay listing tool and inventory manager: listings come from your catalog, prices and stock update on a schedule, and eBay orders arrive in one list with your own statuses.

What the eBay integration does for a seller

Six jobs that otherwise happen by hand in the eBay seller account.

Listings from your catalog

An eBay listing becomes a card with title, description, SKU, price, real stock, full category path, brand, item specifics and photos. Each size or color of a variation listing becomes its own card. Product data is kept once in the product catalog (PIM) and goes to every channel.

Categories and attributes

Your categories are mapped once to the eBay category tree, and attributes to its required fields. A product that misses a required field is shown before export, not after a rejection. New listings can be published from your cards through the eBay export template when you need them.

Prices by rules

Each export template takes its own price or calculates it by formula — for example your base price plus a markup that covers the eBay commission. The catalog and your website keep their own prices. Markup rules.

Stock sync

Price and stock go back to eBay through a separate export template on its own schedule, within eBay daily API limits — a large catalog is best updated less often, for example once a night. Stock comes from your warehouses and supplier price lists.

Orders into your order list

eBay orders arrive as customer orders with your own statuses, in the same list as website orders. From there they are processed like any other order — see order management.

Statuses, countries and accounts

Marketplace order statuses map to your own Elbuz statuses, and shipping details stay on the order. Several eBay accounts are connected with one template each; every account links once, and the import and export templates of that account share the same access.

How it works: one catalog, eBay as one more channel

eBay does not need a separate product database: it takes products from the catalog you already keep.

  1. Catalogproducts, prices and stock from suppliers and your warehouse
  2. eBay templateits own selection, price rule and schedule
  3. Synclistings, prices and stock go out on schedule
  4. Orders backinto the same list as your website orders

The same catalog also feeds your website, other marketplaces and product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok.

What eBay requires from sellers

What the marketplace asks for before your first listing goes live.

  • Identityseller registrationname, address and date of birth; a registered business adds its legal name, tax ID, address and the people who control it
  • Bank accountpayoutsa checking account of the same type as the eBay account — a business eBay account needs a business account in the same name
  • EU buyersDigital Services Actbusiness sellers who sell to buyers in the EU single market must be fully verified before listing

Requirements are set by eBay and change over time. Checked against the official pages on 30 October 2026: eBay — registering as a seller.

eBay integration FAQ

What is the best eBay listing tool for a store with its own catalog?

One that lists from the catalog you already keep, updates prices and stock by itself and brings orders back. In Elbuz eBay is one more channel of the same catalog: listings, item specifics, variations and orders, alongside your website and other marketplaces.

How do I manage eBay inventory without overselling?

Keep stock in one place and let the export template send it to eBay on a schedule. Elbuz takes stock from your warehouses and supplier price lists, so a product that sold out elsewhere drops to zero on eBay at the next run.

Can eBay connect to my online store?

Yes, through Elbuz: your store and eBay work from the same catalog, and eBay orders come into the same order list as website orders. Your store can run on OpenCart, WooCommerce, PrestaShop or another CMS.

How are eBay variations handled?

Each variation — a size or a color — becomes a separate card in Elbuz linked to the eBay listing, so price and stock are tracked per variation.

How often are eBay prices and stock updated?

As often as the export template schedule says. eBay sets daily limits on API calls, so for large catalogs one update a night is a good start; stock-sensitive products can go more often.
