Cdiscount integration for selling in France

Cdiscount integration connects your seller account on the Octopia platform to one Elbuz catalog: offers with mapped categories, prices that cover the commission, stock sync and Cdiscount orders in one list.

The Elbuz products department in cross-section: data from suppliers, websites and AI comes in, and robots assemble one complete product card with attributes and translations, ready for every channel

What the Cdiscount integration does for a seller

Six jobs that otherwise happen by hand in the Cdiscount seller account.

Listings from your catalog

Offers are built from your catalog cards — EAN, title, description, photos, price and stock — with categories and attributes mapped to the Cdiscount catalog. Product data is kept once in the product catalog (PIM) and goes to every channel.

Categories and attributes

Your categories are mapped once to the Cdiscount category tree, and attributes to its required fields. A product that misses a required field is shown before export, not after a rejection. French product texts come from your catalog: Elbuz keeps the catalog in several languages, and the export takes the French one.

Prices by rules

Each export template takes its own price or calculates it by formula — for example your base price plus a markup that covers the Cdiscount commission. The catalog and your website keep their own prices. Markup rules.

Stock sync

Prices and stock go out on the export schedule, so a product that sold out elsewhere stops selling on Cdiscount. Stock comes from your warehouses and supplier price lists.

Orders into your order list

Cdiscount orders come into the same list as website orders and reserve stock there. From there they are processed like any other order — see order management.

Statuses, countries and accounts

Marketplace order statuses map to your own Elbuz statuses, and shipping details stay on the order. The Octopia seller account also opens other Octopia sales channels; each channel can get its own export template from the same catalog.

How it works: one catalog, Cdiscount as one more channel

Cdiscount does not need a separate product database: it takes products from the catalog you already keep.

  1. Catalogproducts, prices and stock from suppliers and your warehouse
  2. Cdiscount templateits own selection, price rule and schedule
  3. Synclistings, prices and stock go out on schedule
  4. Orders backinto the same list as your website orders

The same catalog also feeds your website, other marketplaces and product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok.

Elbuz screens: catalog, export templates and orders

Cdiscount integration FAQ

What is Octopia and how is it related to Cdiscount?

Octopia runs the Cdiscount marketplace and its seller portal. Your Cdiscount seller account and the API both live on the Octopia platform.

What do I need to start selling on Cdiscount?

Submit the KYC registration form, get access to the seller portal and choose a subscription. You pay the monthly subscription and a commission on each sale by category.

Do I need product texts in French?

Cdiscount sells to French shoppers, so offers need French titles and descriptions. Elbuz keeps the catalog in several languages and can translate it with AI; the Cdiscount export takes the French version.

How do I cover the Cdiscount commission in my prices?

The Cdiscount export template calculates its own price by formula — base price plus a markup for the commission — while the catalog price stays the same. See markup and pricing rules.

Can I sell on Cdiscount and Amazon France from one catalog?

Yes. Both are export channels of the same Elbuz catalog, each with its own price rule and schedule.
