OTTO Market integration without code

OTTO Market integration connects your otto.de shop through your own app in OTTO Partner Connect: products, orders and returns come into Elbuz, and new products, prices, stock and tracking numbers go back to OTTO.

What the OTTO Market integration does for a seller

Selling on otto.de otherwise means keeping products, prices, stock, shipping and returns up to date by hand in OTTO Partner Connect. Elbuz takes over these six jobs.

Products from your catalog

Your OTTO products come into the catalog with stock and brand names: name, description, brand, variation SKU, EAN, price, stock, OTTO category and photos. From then on product data is kept once in the product catalog (PIM) and goes to every channel.

New products with full product data

OTTO does not let you attach an offer to another seller’s product page: every seller describes the product. So Elbuz sends a new product in full — with the mapped OTTO category, a brand from your OTTO brand list, an EAN of at least 8 digits, up to 20 photos and the category’s required attributes, taken from your attributes by exact name. If something is missing, the log names the field; Elbuz never makes up values the product does not have.

Prices by rules

The export template takes its own price or calculates it by formula — for example your base price plus a markup that covers the OTTO commission. The price goes out in euros including VAT; the catalog and your website keep their own prices. Markup rules.

Stock sync

OTTO accepts stock immediately, and prices and new products as a task it processes on its side: Elbuz waits about a minute for the result and picks up the rest at the next run. The log shows what was accepted and rejected, and the status of each product on OTTO — for example when OTTO blocks a product and gives a reason.

Orders into your order list

The first run fetches the last 30 days of orders, every next run the changed ones. OTTO lists every single item as its own position; Elbuz merges identical items at the same price into one line, with discounted prices and shipping as a separate amount. From there you process the order like any other — see order management.

Shipping, cancellation and returns

Your status in Elbuz reports the shipment to OTTO with the tracking number and carrier; for parcels also the return tracking number for DHL, GLS or Hermes. Another status cancels the order. Returns come back as their own document linked to the order, and your decision — accepted, or rejected with a reason — goes to OTTO by status too.

OTTO API: what you would otherwise build yourself

OTTO gives sellers the OTTO Market API with separate interfaces for products, orders, stock, shipments and returns. Your own connection needs a developer; in Elbuz it is ready, you only enter the keys of your app.

  • Accessan app in Partner Connectone token per scope, valid for 30 minutes — Elbuz gets it itself and keeps the pace below OTTO’s limits; when a request is refused for the limit, it waits and retries
  • ProductsProducts and Availabilityproduct data and prices go as a task with up to 500 variations, stock in batches of up to 200 SKUs; the shipping profile and handling time of new products are set right after
  • OrdersOrders, Shipments, Returnsorders by date of change, shipments with tracking number, cancellations, returns with acceptance or rejection

For developers: OTTO documents its API at api.otto.market. For sellers the Elbuz template is enough — see How to connect OTTO Market.

How it works: one catalog, OTTO as one more channel

OTTO does not need a separate product database: it takes products from the catalog you already keep.

  1. Catalogproducts, prices and stock from suppliers and your warehouse
  2. OTTO templateits own selection, price rule, German descriptions and schedule
  3. Syncnew products, prices and stock go out on schedule
  4. Orders backinto the same list as your website orders, returns as documents linked to them

The same catalog also feeds your website, Kaufland, eBay and product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok.
