Zalando integration for Partner Program sellers

Zalando integration keeps the catalog of a Partner Program seller in Elbuz: articles with an EAN per size, attributes and size charts, prices per country, stock sync and Zalando orders in one list.

What the Zalando integration does for a seller

Six jobs that otherwise happen by hand in the Zalando seller account.

Listings from your catalog

Articles are built from your catalog cards — an EAN for every size, brand, attributes, photos, size chart and texts in the languages of your sales countries. Product data is kept once in the product catalog (PIM) and goes to every channel.

Categories and attributes

Your categories are mapped once to the Zalando category tree, and attributes to its required fields. A product that misses a required field is shown before export, not after a rejection. Zalando does not let an article go live without the right labelling and a valid 13-digit EAN, so Elbuz checks these fields in your cards before export.

Prices by rules

Each export template takes its own price or calculates it by formula — for example your base price plus a markup that covers the Zalando commission. The catalog and your website keep their own prices. Markup rules.

Stock sync

Stock and prices go out on the export schedule — per size, from your warehouse or supplier stock. Stock comes from your warehouses and supplier price lists.

Orders into your order list

Zalando orders come into the same list as website orders and reserve stock there. From there they are processed like any other order — see order management.

Statuses, countries and accounts

Marketplace order statuses map to your own Elbuz statuses, and shipping details stay on the order. Zalando sells in many European countries: prices are set per country and currency, and product texts go in the language of each market.

How it works: one catalog, Zalando as one more channel

Zalando does not need a separate product database: it takes products from the catalog you already keep.

  1. Catalogproducts, prices and stock from suppliers and your warehouse
  2. Zalando templateits own selection, price rule and schedule
  3. Synclistings, prices and stock go out on schedule
  4. Orders backinto the same list as your website orders

The same catalog also feeds your website, other marketplaces and product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok.

Elbuz screens: catalog, export templates and orders

The same windows run every marketplace: the product card, the export templates and the order list.

Zalando integration FAQ

How do I join the Zalando Partner Program?

By invitation: Zalando invites brands it believes its customers will want and does not accept direct applications. Once invited, you sign the Partner Program Agreement and pass KYC.

What does Zalando require for each product?

A valid 13-digit EAN for every article, correct labelling (CE where required), GPSR compliance in each sales country with labels in local languages, and a brand logo and size charts for new brands.

What is Zalando Connected Retail?

A separate Zalando program for physical stores that sell their in-store stock on Zalando. The Partner Program is for brands and retailers that list their own assortment.

Can I keep Zalando prices different from my website?

Yes. The Zalando export template calculates its own price per country — for example base price plus a markup for the commission — and the website keeps its price. See markup and pricing rules.

How do I translate product texts for several Zalando countries?

Elbuz keeps the catalog in several languages and can translate it with AI; each country gets the texts in its own language.
