Shopify is a great storefront, but it doesn't know how to collect supplier price lists, compare identical products, and calculate prices using formulas. That's why store owners manually transfer data every day: update prices, correct stock, and add new products. These are hours of work that don't bring in money.

Three ways to connect — choose yours

Nice bonus: You can combine methods. Start with a quick import via link, and when you add access (method 2 or 3), the upload will update the same products, without duplicates.

Step 1. Create a template and connect a store

1. Open Data loading and create a new template of type Shopify.com.

2. For quick import: simply enter the website address in the "Store domain" field (both your own domain and the *.myshopify.com address work) and proceed to step 2.

3. For full connection: install the Elbuz app from the Shopify marketplace, after installation you will receive binding code — enter it in the "Marketplace app" card and click "Link store." Or insert your own app's access token into the token field.

Step 2. Download the catalog

Click "Download". Elbuz will move the directory to the Elbuz base directory:

• products with options (size, color) will become families: each option is a separate item with its own price, remaining stock, article number, and photo;

• Variant options will become attributes for filters;

• collections will become categories, vendors will become manufacturers, tags will remain;

• the old price (compare at price) will be saved as a crossed out price.

In quick mode, the link loads the open part of the catalog (without balances and barcodes - the storefront does not publish them). With a token or application - everything in full, including real balances in warehouses.

Step 3. Order: instantly and with history

• Webhooks (instant). Click the button in the template "Subscribe to Shopify webhooks" — and every new order or status change will appear in Elbuz in seconds. With the Elbuz app, subscription is automatically enabled upon installation.

• Sales history. The "Orders" checkbox in the template loads all past orders — from the date or number you choose. The statistics will stay with you.

• Statuses. Use the mapping buttons to link Shopify payment and shipping statuses to your account statuses.

Step 4. Unloading: the store updates itself

1. Open Data upload and create a template of type Shopify.com.

2. Flag "Categories" — Elbuz will create and update store collections based on your category tree.

3. Flag "Goods" — the site will upload current prices, remaining stock, descriptions, and photos. Large catalogs are uploaded in one mass package — this is fast even for thousands of products.

Products imported from the store are updated point by point by variant — Elbuz changes the price and balance of each variant without affecting the card design owned by the store.

Recommendations for maximum profit

• Start with a quick import. Enter the store address and in a few minutes you will see your catalog in Elbuz - this is the fastest way to evaluate the system in action.

• Enable order webhooks. The speed of response to orders directly affects conversion and feedback - process orders as soon as they appear.

• Schedule the unloading. Nightly update of prices and balances - and in the morning the store is already synchronized with all suppliers' price lists.

• Use Elbuz markup formulas. Different markups for different categories and suppliers - and prices in the store are always competitive and profitable.

Frequently asked questions

I only entered a link to the store — where does Elbuz get its products from?

Shopify publishes an open catalog for each store in a standard format. Elbuz reads it page by page — legally, without passwords or keys. This is the fast mode.

Will there be duplicates if I add a token after a quick import?

No. Elbuz maps products by internal Shopify IDs, so uploading with a token will update only those products that were imported via the link.

Will uploading overwrite my store descriptions?

For products imported from the store, only prices and remaining variants are updated. Full card refresh works for products you create from the Elbuz catalog.
