Amazon integration: your catalog sells on the world's largest marketplace — automatically

Why is it needed and what will you get?
Amazon is millions of buyers in Germany, Poland, the USA and dozens of other countries. But the daily routine of a seller is familiar to everyone: updating prices after suppliers change their prices, checking the remaining stock so as not to sell something that is no longer available, displaying new products, collecting orders. Manually, this is hours of work every day - and any mistake costs money or the account rating.
Elbuz integration with Amazon eliminates this routine completely. Elbuz collects price lists from all your suppliers into a single catalog, calculates prices according to your markup formulas — and then keeps Amazon up to date: updates prices and stock, displays new products, and accepts orders.
What tasks does integration solve?
Downloading the catalog from Amazon to Elbuz. All your listings — with prices, remaining stock, photos, brands, and variations — are transferred to the base catalog in one run.
Automatic update of prices and balances. The supplier changed the price list — Elbuz recalculated the prices and updated the offers on Amazon. Without your participation, on schedule.
Publication of new products by barcode. A new feature has appeared in the supplier's price list - Elbuz finds its card in the Amazon catalog by barcode and displays your offer with the price and balance.
Orders in one system. All sales history and new orders from Amazon are collected in Elbuz - with amounts, products, and statuses.
The result: you manage one catalog in Elbuz, and Amazon becomes another sales channel that works on its own. More products online — more orders — more profit.
How it works: a simple diagram
The integration consists of two templates that work in pairs:
Download template ("Data Download" menu) - retrieves your catalog and orders from Amazon to Elbuz.
Unloading template (Data Upload menu) - sends current prices and stock levels to Amazon and publishes new products.
Connection is via the official Elbuz app for Amazon: you click a button, confirm access in your Amazon seller account, and receive a short binding code No keys, tokens, or technical settings.
Step 1. Connect your Amazon seller account
Open Data loading and create a new template of type Amazon.com.
Find the card in the template "Marketplace app" and follow the Elbuz app installation link. Log in to your Amazon seller account (Seller Central) and confirm access.
After confirmation, the screen will appear binding code 8 characters. Enter it in the "Marketplace App" card and click "Link a store".
Field Seller ID will be filled in automatically. All that remains is to specify Marketplace ID — the code of the platform where you sell.
Main settings fields
Field | What to specify |
|---|---|
Seller ID | Merchant ID. Automatically populated when linking the application. |
Marketplace ID of the site | Country of sale code: Germany — A1PA6795UKMFR9, Poland — A1C3SOZRARQ6R3, USA — ATVPDKIKX0DER, France — A13V1IB3VIYZZH, Italy — APJ6JRA9NG5V4, Spain — A1RKKUPIHCS9HS. |
Access token | Only needed by developers for the test sandbox. Leave empty with the application. |
Data Selection Checkboxes | Select what to upload: products, photos, attributes, orders, etc. |
Step 2. Download the catalog from Amazon
Click "Download" — and Elbuz will do everything himself:
order a full report on your listings from Amazon (Amazon takes a few minutes to prepare large catalogs - this is normal, the progress will be visible in the log);
for each product, it will additionally pull up photos, brands, and variation links from the Amazon catalog;
will create products in the base catalog: variations (size, color) will be combined into families, brands will become manufacturers, and Amazon categories will turn into a familiar category tree.
Relaunching is safe: products already in the catalog will be updated - there will be no duplicates.
Step 3. Receive the order
Check the box in the template "Order" — and Elbuz will upload the sales history, and then regularly (according to the planner's schedule) will collect new orders and status changes.
Each order contains: number, date, amount, currency, order composition with reference to your products, delivery city and country, payment and shipment status. Status mapping buttons in the template allow you to link Amazon statuses to your account statuses - orders will immediately fall into the correct column of your funnel.
It is important to know: At the first stage of integration, Amazon transfers the order without the buyer's name and street address (this is a separate platform permission that we will add in future versions). The available data is completely sufficient for accounting, analytics, and sales control.
Step 4. Configure the download: prices, balances, new products
Open Data upload and create a template of type Amazon.com.
Specify the same Seller ID and Marketplace ID (if the application is linked, access will be granted automatically).
Check the box. "Goods" — Elbuz will update prices and stock levels of all products already linked to Amazon.
Do you want new items from suppliers' price lists to appear on Amazon by themselves? Check the box "Publish new products".
How new product publishing works
For each product without Amazon binding, Elbuz takes it barcode (EAN or UPC), finds the appropriate card in the Amazon catalog and displays your offer: price, balance, and “new” condition. You don’t need to fill in a description, photo, or specifications — Amazon already has a ready-made product card, you simply become one of its sellers. This is the fastest way to bring your assortment to the marketplace.
Goods without a barcode are passed through - there will be a clear explanation in the unloading log.
Creation of completely new cards (for unique products that are not in the Amazon catalog) — in future versions of the integration.
Recommendations for maximum profit
Configure markup formulas in Elbuz to take into account Amazon commissions. Marketplace commissions are typically 8–15% depending on the category. Build this into your pricing formula and every sale will be profitable.
Schedule updates. Add loading and unloading templates to the scheduler and prices and balances will be updated without your intervention, for example, every night.
Keep an eye on the barcodes in suppliers' price lists. The more products have EAN/UPC, the more new products Elbuz will be able to automatically list on Amazon.
Start with one platform. Connect the main country of sale first, set up the process, and then add other marketplaces using separate templates.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to program anything or get API keys?
No. Just install the Elbuz application in your seller account and enter the binding code - the system will do the rest.
What happens if I start the download twice?
Don't worry: products and orders will be updated, and duplicates will not appear. You can run the integration as many times as you like.
Can I update only the remaining items, without publishing new items?
Yes. Just don't check the "Publish new products" box - then only products that are already linked to Amazon will be updated.
My item didn't appear on Amazon after I uploaded it. Why?
Open the unloading log - there, for each missed item, the reason is indicated: most often, it is a missing barcode. Add the item's barcode and repeat the unloading.
