Wix Integration: Your Wix Stores site updates itself

Why is it needed and what will you get?

Wix is a simple and beautiful store builder, but the catalog in it lives its own life: suppliers' prices change every day, and yesterday's prices remain on the site. Have you sold a product that is no longer in the supplier's stock? It's a familiar story that costs both money and reputation.

Elbuz integration with Wix puts the site on autopilot. Elbuz collects suppliers' price lists, combines them into a catalog with the correct prices — and keeps Wix Stores up to date: updates prices and stock, and takes orders into account.

What tasks does integration solve?

• Migrating the Wix catalog to Elbuz. Products with options, photos, prices, and remaining stock — in one run, without manual copying.

• Automatic site update. Prices and stock levels for each product and variant are updated on a schedule — the site always shows the truth.

• Orders in one system. New orders and the entire sales history are uploaded to Elbuz - with buyers, products, and amounts.

Result: you work with price lists and orders in Elbuz, and the storefront on Wix updates itself - without "empty" sales and outdated prices.

How it works: a simple diagram

1. Download template ("Data Upload" menu) - transfers the catalog and orders from Wix to Elbuz.

2. Unloading template (menu "Data upload") - sends current prices and balances to the site.

Connection — by API key, which is issued in your Wix account in a few clicks, or through the Elbuz application from the Wix App Market (binding code).

Step 1. Get an API key and Site ID in your Wix dashboard

1. Log in to wix.com into your account and open the page API Keys (Account Settings → API Keys).

2. Click Generate API Key, give the key a name (e.g. "Elbuz") and grant permissions for the store: Wix Stores (reading and managing goods) and eCommerce / Orders (reading orders).

3. Copy the key — Wix only displays it once.

4. Find Site ID your site: it is shown in the site settings, and is also in the address bar of the account (the long code between "/dashboard/" and the next "/").

Step 2. Create a template and connect your site

1. Open Data loading and create a new template of type Wix.com.

2. Insert API key and Site ID in the appropriate fields and save.

3. If you installed the Elbuz app from the Wix App Market, instead of the key, just enter binding code in the "Marketplace app" card.

Step 3. Download the catalog and order

Click "Download":

• products with variants will become families in the base catalog — each variant with its own price and remaining stock;

• photos, categories and descriptions will be transferred automatically;

• with the "Orders" checkbox, Elbuz will load the sales history and then regularly collect new orders and status changes (status comparison buttons are in the template).

Reruns are safe — only updates, no duplicates.

Step 4. Configure price and balance uploads

1. Open Data upload and create a template of type Wix.com.

2. Specify the same API key (password field) and Site ID (login field).

3. Check the box. "Goods" and start the upload — Elbuz will update the price and balance of each product and variant associated with the site.

The design of the cards (descriptions, photos, SEO) is left to the site — Elbuz updates the commercial data: prices and availability. Products without a link to the site are skipped with an explanation in the magazine — first, upload the catalog from Wix (step 3) so that the system links the products.

Recommendations for maximum profit

• Schedule updates. Loading orders every 15–30 minutes, uploading prices after nightly price list processing. The site will live on its own.

• Use Elbuz markup formulas. Prices on the site will always be calculated from the current prices of suppliers - with your margin.

• Control the balances honestly. A product that has run out of stock at the supplier will automatically become unavailable on the site - no apologies to buyers for canceled orders.

• Keep your API key safe. This is full access to your site — do not publish it or share it with third parties.

Create a separate template for each site — the API key can be shared, and each site can have its own Site ID.

How quickly do new orders arrive at Elbuz?

Orders are picked up according to the scheduler's schedule - set an interval of 15–30 minutes, and no order will be left unattended.

Will uploading overwrite my descriptions on the site?

No. Only prices and balances are updated - the design of the cards remains entirely yours.
