What is Flat Rate?

A single rate is a constant rate that is the same for all sellers in a certain category. For example, in the category “Car air conditioners” the rate is 5%. All sellers with products in this category will work at a 5% rate.
Flat rates cannot be increased or decreased - they cannot be edited. Rates are constant. They can be reviewed no more often than once every six months.

Why will Flat Rates apply to all sellers?

These rates are already used by more than 50% of sellers in each category. These were the ones that sellers installed most often. Now they will be the only ones.
Rates changed in both directions - in some categories they decreased, in others they increased. For 97% of sellers, write-offs will decrease or remain unchanged.
You can check rates by category in file or dashboard.
Pay attention! In general categories, rates are higher, and in final subcategories, rates are lower. For example, in the category “Men’s clothing, general” the rate is 10%, and in the category “Men’s suits and tuxedos” - 6%.
Place products in the most relevant categories. This can be done in section Goods and services - Categories.
Wholesale rates remain unchanged. The rate is 2%.

How will Flat Rates work under CPA?

For the order payment model (CPA), the flat rate is only a percentage. Therefore, on May 16, sellers whose rates are in a fixed amount in hryvnia will be set uniform percentage rates.
There is a limit on the maximum write-off amount. Regardless of the rate, we will not write off more than 500 UAH.
For example, if the cost of a product is 8 thousand UAH, and the flat rate is 10%, we will write off 500 UAH, not 800 UAH.

How will Flat Rates affect all products in the Prom catalog?

From May 16, all sellers' products will be in the Prom catalogue. We will launch ProSale for all products that have not yet been added to the promotion. If desired, the campaign can still be disabled.
If at the time of the changes you do not have an active ProSale campaign, we will not launch anything.
Products not in ProSale will have an inactive product card without a cart and contacts. Customers cannot order them. However, such products will not disappear from the catalog and will remain indexed in Google. When you decide to sell them again (for example, the product is back in stock or the season starts), simply launch a ProSale campaign.
It looks like this:

If the client clicks the “Find similar” button, they will be redirected to a search page with similar products.
Fill in the product properties. This way they can be included in the selection of similar products.

From May 16, all products that are not added to the ProSale campaign will look exactly like this in the Prom catalog. There are no changes for websites - products will continue to be displayed.

What will happen to sellers' products in the Prom catalog on May 16?

The display of the product map will change. It can be:
1. Active – the product can be ordered and there are contacts. These will be the products of sellers operating during wartime and running ProSale campaigns.
If the seller promoted part of his assortment, we will launch a campaign for the remaining items. For consumer products, the company will operate on a pay-per-order (CPA) model.
You can disable a running campaign and create your own company with the selected products.
2. Inactive – there is no cart or contacts, the product cannot be ordered. This will be the product of sellers working during wartime, but on May 16 without an active ProSale campaign.
The seller can launch a system campaign for all products. Or create your own campaign for certain items that you currently want to sell. Once the campaign is launched, these products will become available for order.
3. Inactive – the seller has enabled the “I do not work during wartime” checkbox or used the “Freeze placement” service.
When the seller returns to work and turns on the “Working in wartime” settings, we will add all of his products to ProSale and launch a system campaign:

• “Products with payment per order” - for goods in consumer categories;
• “Cost-to-File Products” for services and industrial categories.

So, after “freezing placement”, all the seller’s products will become active in the catalog and customers will be able to order them.
The seller will be able to disable running campaigns if he is not ready to sell these products. He can also create his own campaign for selected positions.
This condition is valid from May 16th. If the seller earns money earlier, there will be no auto-launch of campaigns.

Promotion of goods with payment per order (CPA) and transition (CPC)

Products in consumer categories can only be promoted using the payment for order model (CPA). You can view the list of consumer categories in the file.
For services and industrial categories, nothing will change - they can still be promoted using the pay-per-click (CPC) model.
If the seller has consumer category products in campaigns using the pay-per-conversion (CPC) model, the following changes will occur on May 16:

• If the seller has at least one active ProSale campaign, then we will launch a campaign for these products according to the CPA model. The seller can turn it off if desired.
• If the seller does not have any running campaign on May 16, we will remove the products from the CPC, but will not launch anything.

Exception categories

Products in consumer categories where cart display is prohibited by law (such as medications) can be promoted using a pay-per-conversion model.

Issue in the Prom catalog

The issue will be even more influenced by quality indicators, because the rates will be the same within a certain category.
The ranking is still influenced by:

• product rating CPA/CPC;
• percentage of positive reviews;
• Availability of promo payment.

You can’t get to the TOP only with a high bet.

“More sales” setting

Products of companies that work well with customers and have high quality service indicators can get into the Top search results on Prom. Also, the products of these companies will appear in Google advertising.
Sellers will be able to enable the settings:

• over 70% of successful orders;
• over 90% positive reviews.

If a seller enables this setting, their bids will automatically be 30% higher.
Rates will be the same for all sellers who include more sales. Sellers will be ranked among themselves based on quality indicators - CPA/CPC product rating, percentage of positive reviews and the presence of Promo Payment.

Simplification of the ProSale section in the account

On May 16, the interface of the ProSale section will be visually simplified. Only the necessary information on products and rates is displayed.

Why does Prom make changes in work ProSale? What is the goal?

We want the work of an entrepreneur on Prom to follow a simple and universal scheme:

1. I bought a placement package.
2. Added all products to the catalog (with an active or inactive product card).
3. Started receiving orders and fulfilling them.
4. Didn't waste time on unnecessary settings.
5. Paid the payment if there was an order.

Important! All sellers in the category pay the same rate. Competition between sellers in the Prom catalog is based on the quality of customer service.

When will updates to ProSale on Prom go live?

Starting May 16, 2022. Prom reports changes a week in advance, so you have time to review. When the changes take effect, you will receive a notification in your account. The changes will take effect simultaneously:

1. Sellers will launch a campaign for products that have not yet been added to ProSale (except for sellers who do not have any campaign launched on May 16).
2. All ProSale campaigns will earn at the same rates.
3. Consumer goods will work only with payment per order (CPA), services and industrial with payment per switch (CPC).
4. Products that are in ProSale will not yet become inactive in the catalog.
5. The simplified view of the ProSale page in your account will be updated.

You can independently disable the running one and set up your own ProSale campaign only for selected items that you want to sell right now. Such products will be active in the catalog.

Will it become more expensive to sell? Will flat rates go higher?

No. Rates have changed in both directions compared to the recommended ones: in some categories they have become slightly higher, in others they have been lower or have not changed. The industry should ensure that rates are competitive in the market, and that it is profitable for sellers to sell.
Focus on the sales structure by category. Yes, perhaps some categories will indeed become more expensive for you, but others will be cheaper. 97% of sellers will not feel any changes in write-offs, because they will pay the same or less.
We recommend viewing rates in all categories. You can view them in file or datastudio.
If there are some categories in which you are not ready to sell now, you may not promote them in the catalogue. When you're ready, the season starts, or you want to sell your leftovers, turn on ProSale for those items.

Why are the flat rates the size they are?

We focused on the rates that sellers set most often. Flat rates are rates that more than 50% of sellers in each category already use.

Is it possible to change the bet? Increase or decrease?

No. The rates are the same for everyone. They cannot be edited.

Why is Prom launching my entire range in the ProSale Catalog?

Now I do not sell all products.

Previously it was like this: products that you are ready to sell → enabling the ProSale campaign → products in the Prom catalog; products that you are not ready to sell → disabling the ProSale campaign → buyers have not seen these products.

So, when these products appeared in the warehouse, whether the season had come, and the seller turned on the campaign - only then the products attracted buyers in the catalog. It took time for the products to be indexed in Google and receive their positions in the catalog.
In addition, for many sellers this created extra work: keeping track of which products are currently being promoted and which ones are not, remembering to turn on the campaign when necessary, and also calculating and placing bids.

From 05.16.22 it will be like this: all products in the catalog products that you are ready to sell → enable the ProSale campaign → products are active in the catalog products that you are not ready to sell → disabling the ProSale campaign → products are inactive, but remain in the catalog.

So, when you're ready to sell those items, launch ProSale and the items will quickly activate with Google indexing saved. Buyers will find them faster in the search engine.

What will happen to goods not in ProSale?

They will become inactive in the directory. Such products will have a different, simplified map: without the Buy button and Contacts. These products will continue to be indexed by the search engine, and when you decide to resume promoting them, they will not lose their position in the search results.

Why in consumer categories is promotion only with payment for the order (CPA)? Previously, it was possible to promote products with payment on transition (CPC).

From May 16, new conditions apply: in consumer categories only CPA. We believe this model is fair. You pay only for a successful order; if it does not take place, you can cancel it and return the payment.
Because consumer categories typically order through a shopping cart, you won't pay for clicks from shoppers who only view but don't buy the item. This can save your budget.
Categories of industrial products and services remain subject to switching charges (CPC) and are not ordered through the shopping cart.

How will products be ranked?

The ranking rules on Prom will not change. All sellers will have the same rates. The results will continue to take into account quality indicators. Above will be a product that:

• has products that match search queries in the appropriate categories, with high-quality tags, descriptions, photos;
• has a high product rating (has good conversion, successfully fulfills most orders, increases turnover);
• has more than 90% positive reviews;
• connected Prom Payment.

Sellers who are able and willing to use the "More Sells" option will also be promoted at the same increased rates. They will be ranked among themselves based on quality indicators.

How to improve your rankings on Prom?

Products of companies that work well with customers and have high quality service indicators can get into the Top results on Prom by turning on the “More sales” settings.
Also, the products of these companies will appear in Google advertising from Prom.
Only sellers who have:

• over 70% of successful orders will be able to enable the “More sales” settings;
• over 90% positive reviews.

If your indicators are lower or not yet formed, work on them. The “More Sales” setting will become available as soon as you reach them. How to improve performance?
More sales can be set up both for all products and for individual groups. To do this, you need to create your own campaign for a group of products and enable more sales only for it.
By enabling the “More sales” settings, the bids in the campaign will automatically increase by 30%.
Rates will be the same for all sellers who include more sales. Sellers will be ranked among themselves based on quality indicators - CPA/CPC product rating, percentage of positive reviews and the presence of Promo Payment.

What will happen to the rating of goods that were previously promoted under the CPA, but will now be promoted under the CPA?

If at the time of the change you did not have any CPA campaign with accumulated statistics, then your products will be issued according to the average rating indicator for the Prom category until your own rating is formed over time.
If you had CPA campaigns, then the transferred products will work according to your company’s already accumulated CPA rating.

How will payment be debited for ordering goods at the “price from” price?

Such products can be promoted using the CPA model. We calculate payment at a flat rate based on the specified "price from". For example, the price is from 500 UAH, the rate is 6%, then the payment for the order will be 30 UAH.

What will happen to the products on the company’s website if they are not in ProSale?

There will be no changes to the display of products on the website. Sellers with the Mix placement package still do not pay for orders or clicks on the site.

What if I have an expensive product? Previously, the rate was set in hryvnia.

There will be no more ponds in hryvnias. On May 16, we will establish uniform interest rates. We recommend viewing the flat rates in these categories.
There is a restriction: we will not write off more than 500 UAH. For example, if the cost of a product is 8 thousand UAH, and the rate is 10%, we will write off 500 UAH, not 800. However, this rule does not apply if the seller turns on the “More sales” settings.
