Zoomers prefer Apple: iPhone and Watch are in the top, but not entertainment services
Apple products remain extremely popular among teens in the United States, where the majority of them own an iPhone and use other company devices such as the Apple Watch and Apple Pay, according to a new survey.

A recent Piper Sandler study found that the vast majority of American teenagers exactly 85% own an iPhone and do not plan to change it to another brand of smartphone. This fact demonstrates the enormous popularity and devotion to the Apple brand among the younger generation.
Apple Watch takes over the market
According to the same survey, 34% of teens use Apple Watch , and this figure remains stable compared to the previous report. In addition, there is a growing interest in purchasing these smartwatches - 13% of respondents plan to buy an Apple Watch in the next 6 months. Overall, only 39.4% of teens use a smartwatch, making the Apple Watch the clear leader in this segment among young people.
Spotify leads Apple Music
In the field of music streaming services, Spotify is the leader, it is used by almost two thirds of the teenagers surveyed. At the same time, only 30% use Apple Music, which indicates a more modest popularity of this service among the youth audience.
Streaming video services
However, the Apple TV+ video streaming service is not in significant demand among teenagers - less than 5% of them watch it daily. In comparison, 30% of young people prefer Netflix daily, and about the same number use YouTube.
Payment preferences
In the field of payment systems, Apple Pay has become the undisputed leader among teenagers - 44% of them have used this service in the last month. However, for direct money transfers, young people prefer services such as Cash and Venmo.
