Ukrainian startup Arkis, founded by Serhiy Tyschenko and Oleksandr Proskurin, raised $2.25 million in the pre-seed round. One of the investors is the Ukrainian fund Roosh Ventures, the fund informed ELBUZ.

Arkis is a crypto startup specializing in the development of the DeFi (decentralized finance) market. The company provides an opportunity for clients to receive financing for cryptocurrency operations on the blockchain.
- The round was led by the American venture fund gumi Cryptos Capital, which was joined by: Ukrainian Roosh Ventures, G1 Ventures and Psalion VC.
- Using a margin mechanism, Arkis enables users to borrow, transact and repay borrowed funds without having to switch to other platforms.
“After the collapse of FTX and 3 Arrows Capital, lending naturally took a huge hit. Oleksandr and I developed a new mathematical approach to creating a transparent leveraged infrastructure," said Serhii Tyshchenko, co-founder of Arkis.
Cooperation with DeFi Hedge Funds
Arkis actively cooperates with DeFi hedge funds to create a customized leveraged environment with a special focus on cybersecurity . Users who borrow or raise funds through Arkis enter into smart contracts, which are then managed by an investment manager. All operations that are added to the white list are considered when determining the set of operations.
