X Twitter has officially allowed porn: rules no longer restrict adult content
For the sake of monetization, Platform X (formerly Twitter) has officially legalized adult content, including porn and explicit content, subject to consent and a number of caveats.
Adult content
New rules X
Social network "X" has made changes to its rules, officially allowing publication content with erotic content and pornography created by mutual consent. Previously, such content was not explicitly prohibited or permitted on the platform. Under the new rules, users can share graphic adult content, including those created using artificial intelligence, as long as it is clearly labeled. This will allow the service to generate additional revenue by offering services similar to OnlyFans.
Restrictions for minors
Despite the liberalization of the rules, X strives to protect children and those who does not want to see explicit content. Users under 18 years of age or who have not indicated their date of birth in their profile will be denied access to such publications. It is also still prohibited to post materials that openly promote violence or contain scenes of violence against people.
Potential risks
Legalization of adult content may draw the attention of regulators to X control measures with unauthorized pornography and child protection. Last year, Australia fined the platform for failing to report child abuse material, and India demanded it remove such content.

Honestly, these new rules for adult content on X worry me a little. 🤔 I understand the value of self-expression, but how can we protect children from inappropriate content?
Sophie
I agree, Sergio. It's a fine line between free speech and protecting vulnerable groups. 😕 Perhaps X could introduce a strict system of age verification and privacy settings.

I don't see a problem! 🤷♂️ Adults have the right to their own content as long as it does not violate laws. Just keep him away from children and everything will be fine. 😎

What about the fact that this might attract more spammers and scammers? 😟 You need to be careful with such changes so as not to turn the platform into a mess.
Gunther
Ugh, these trends are boring me! 😒 Why do we even need all this adult content on a communication platform? Children definitely don't need it, and adults can find it elsewhere. What nonsense! 🙄

I think this is a good move on X's part, Gunther. 💁♀️ People are already publishing this kind of content, so why not legalize and control it? At least it will be safer for everyone. 👍

I won't be a hypocrite, I sometimes watch adult content. 😏 But I'm worried that X might become too similar to OnlyFans. They should have clear boundaries so as not to scare off regular users.

I think this could be an interesting opportunity for content creators to make money in a new way. 💰 But X must be very careful with moderation and filtering systems to keep minors out. There is a fine line between freedom and protection of rights. 🧐
