Chasing a BMW in Los Angeles: Reality or GTA?
An armed criminal who committed a robbery gives him a GTA-style chase in a BMW 6- Series Convertible in Los Angeles, which ended in a crash and arrest.
Reality chase
The beginning of a crime story
An incident occurred in Los Angeles that resembles a scene from the popular video game Grand Theft Auto. According to law enforcement information published on the portal Carscoops, it all started when an armed criminal robbed a passerby, taking his personal belongings, including a wallet and mobile phone.
Dramatic pursuit
A short time later, the attacker found himself driving a BMW 6-Series Convertible, the origin of which remains unclear to the police. His maneuvers on the city roads attracted the attention of law enforcement officers, and a pursuit began after the car, which was recorded by a camera from a police helicopter.
Dangerous driving and collision
The BMW driver, as if under the influence of the virtual world of GTA, demonstrated extremely risky behavior on the road. He repeatedly drove into oncoming traffic and ignored road signs, despite heavy traffic. The chase culminated in a high-speed collision with another vehicle, causing the BMW to spin out and drift onto the side of the road.
Escape attempt and arrest
After the accident, despite serious damage to the car, the offender tried to escape on foot. However, his attempt was in vain - the police quickly detained the offender. During a search of the vehicle, a rifle was found, which added to the seriousness of the situation, although, fortunately, there were no further developments in the spirit of Counter-Strike.

Wow! Just like in GTA 😱 I wonder what made this guy run away from the police so desperately? Maybe he had a good reason?
Hans
Isabella, are you kidding? What good reason could there be for such actions? This guy is clearly dangerous to society. Good thing he was caught before he hurt anyone else 😠
Amélie
I agree with Hans. But what amazed me most was how he managed to steal a BMW 6-Series Convertible! This is not some old wreck 🚗💨 I wonder how long he managed to drive it?
Isabella
Amélie, you're right! I also noticed this detail. Maybe he's a professional car thief? 🤔 In any case, the video really looks like footage from the game. Life sometimes brings such surprises!
Javier
Guys, did you notice that he also had a rifle in the car? 😳 It’s good that he didn’t have time to use it. It could have ended much worse.
Grzegorz
This whole situation is complete idiocy. Instead of living a normal life, people stage such shows. And for what? To get on the news and go to jail? Some kind of nonsense.
Francesca
Grzegorz, don't be so harsh! Of course, what he did was terrible, but perhaps he had serious problems. We need to think about why people do such desperate things 🤷♀️

But I’m wondering how this will affect the video game industry 🎮 Will they start accusing GTA of promoting violence again? Although, in my opinion, the games have nothing to do with it, it’s just a coincidence.
