Rakuten Viber Messenger has introduced an innovative Chat Summary feature chat" based on artificial intelligence technology ChatGPT from OpenAI. This innovation allows users to get a condensed content of group conversations, analyzing from five to a hundred unread messages and highlighting their key aspects in one compact message.
Convenience for users of group chats
The company notes that two-thirds of Ukrainian Viber users are active communicate in group chats at least once a month. Therefore, the new function is designed to save their time by providing an opportunity to quickly familiarize themselves with the content of the conversation without having to read all the messages.
Accessibility and Language Support
The Chat Summary feature is currently being tested for 10 % of iOS and Android users in Ukraine, USA, Japan, Bulgaria, Poland and the Philippines. It supports more than 50 languages, including Ukrainian.
