In Ukraine, a new Defense Tech project of the Innovation Hub cluster from TAF Drones was launched, aimed at supporting innovative defense developments and their rapid implementation at the front.

Project Goal
The new Defense Tech Innovation Hub cluster from TAF Drones is designed to facilitate the implementation of promising ideas and development of "garage" inventors in the field of defense technologies. The main goal is to provide flexible financing and resources for the rapid implementation of innovative solutions and their delivery to the front.
Financial support
According to TAF Drones, there are currently a large number of potentially important developments , which do not receive the necessary funding. The Innovation Hub cluster will use a variety of financing methods, not limited to venture capital investments. Funds will be invested directly in promising technologies and talented teams, even if they have no experience in business or management.
Developer benefits
Innovation Hub members are offered:
- Rapid adjustment of serial production and delivery of developments to the front.
- Access to TAF Drones resources for technology testing and improvement.
- Support and consultations of experienced specialists of the company's R&D center.
Priority Areas
TAF Drones invites applications from anyone developing innovative defense technologies, even without prior startup experience. Special priority is given to technologies that create additional value for FPV drones, in particular:
- EW-resistant radio modules for FPV drones;
- Target guidance systems;
- Localization of production of components for FPV;
- Development of EW and anti-EW technologies.

- TAF Drones is a military-technical company engaged in the production and development of military technologies, in particular FPV drones, artificial intelligence for aerial reconnaissance . Production capacity is 25,000 drones per month.
- FPV (First Person View) drones are unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with cameras that allow the pilot to observe the same view as the drone.
- EW (Radio Electronic Combat) - a set of measures to reduce the combat effectiveness of the enemy's radio electronic systems.

But the team had problems with mass production - I hope they will be picked up and help bring the idea to life.

I believe that funding is not the biggest problem on the way to the implementation of new developments. For me, the bigger challenge is setting up mass production of components that are often purchased from abroad. 🇺🇦 Localization of production will allow us to become more independent and mobile.
