Revolution in Android: Unified notification system for all devices
Google is developing a feature to sync notifications between devices on Android 15, which will allow users to manage alerts across all gadgets in the ecosystem at the same time.
Android notification sync
New feature in development
Google is apparently working on introducing the long-awaited notification synchronization feature across all devices in its ecosystem. This information was provided by Mishal Rahman from Android Authority, who discovered code in the beta version of Android 15 indicating the development of a “sync between devices” option.
Location of the new option
The detected code fragment will presumably be placed in the Settings menu, in the "Alerts" section. Its location is between the "private notifications" options and Rahman's recently identified "pause notifications" option.
Expected functionality
There is currently no notification synchronization feature on Android. When fully implemented, users will be able to dismiss a notification on an Android tablet, for example, without the same notification appearing later on their smartphone. It is expected that such an innovation will be in demand by the majority of ecosystem users.
Possible Distribution
Based on the location of the sync code, Mishal Rahman suggests that the new feature will be available across the entire Android ecosystem. and not just for Pixel devices. However, due to the lack of a detailed description, this cannot yet be stated with complete confidence.

Google has finally gotten around to syncing notifications! 🎉 It's so annoying when the same notification comes to all devices. I hope they do it right.
Hans
I agree, Isabella! This should make life a lot easier. I wonder how this will affect the battery? 🤔 I hope they streamline the process.

Oh, I've been waiting for this for so long! 😍 I have a ton of Android devices and this will really save me from notification chaos. I wonder if this will work between phone and smartwatch?
Diego
Amélie, great question about watches! I'd like to see this work with other devices in the ecosystem, like Android TV or even Android Auto car systems. It would be super convenient!
Viktor
Pfft, another useless feature. Why do we need so many devices? They just siphon money out of people. In my time, one phone was enough for everything.
Sophia
Victor, times are changing! 😊 Many people really need several devices for work and life. Hans, about the battery - I hope Google will take this point into account. Maybe they will make adjustments for optimization?
Isabella
Sophia, exactly! Settings will be key. I would like to be able to choose which applications to sync and which not. Diego, the idea with Android Auto 🚗 is just great!
Hans
Guys, did you notice that this will be in Android 15? I wonder when the release will come out and on which devices it will work first. Pixel perhaps? 🤖
