Raising investment
At the end of April 2024, Bluedot startup successfully raised $600,000 in angel investment during the pre-seed round, valuing his project at $5 million. Funds were received from investors from Ukraine, the USA, Great Britain, France and Germany. Further development
The raised investments will be used to strengthen the startup team and carry out marketing activities. Currently, Bluedot is of interest not only to foreign, but also to Ukrainian investors, since the service supports recording conversations in Ukrainian. Development of the Bluedot extension for Chrome began a year and a half ago, and the full launch took place last year. The company is demonstrating active growth, expanding its presence and attracting clients from Europe and the USA.
Unique advantages
According to Bluedot representatives, their product is one of the most secure recorders for recording video conferences in the European market. Using the extension, you can record a meeting in Google Meet, after which the recording will be transcribed. Based on the received transcription, notes and analytics on the meeting are created, and recommendations are provided. Among the key advantages of Bluedot is the absence of the need to use third-party bots, storing data on local European servers, and the ability to transcribe in Ukrainian, Dutch, Polish and other European languages. The extension is currently used by more than 1,000 paying customers, including well-known companies such as The New York Times, Salesforce, Etsy and UserTesting. Bravo, Bluedot team! Raising $600,000 from well-known investors at such an early stage is a worthy result. I'm excited to see startups developing innovative solutions for business communication. 💼

Why is all this needed? Previously, they managed just fine without any recordings of rallies. A complete waste of money and time on unnecessary things 😒

It's cool that Bluedot supports the Ukrainian language. It would be cool if they added Polish in the future 🇵🇱 The startup is clearly moving in the right direction!
