The Broadband Genie study examined the affordability of mobile communications in different countries around the world, comparing the cost of data packages and the average income of the population.

Leading countries in terms of availability
Singapore ranks first in terms of mobile data availability, because the cost package is only 0.35% of the average salary. Next in the ranking are Luxembourg, Israel, Iceland and Great Britain. Despite the lowest prices in South America ($16.90 on average), local residents spend 4.43% of their income on communications due to low earnings.
The worst availability indicators
Guinea is the country with the least available mobile data - the package costs 56 .29% of the average salary. Zambia, Ivory Coast, Syria and Papua New Guinea also found themselves at the bottom of the ranking. It is interesting that Israel (3rd place) and Syria (176th place) represent Asia from diametrically opposite positions.
The situation in Ukraine
Ukraine ranked 52nd in the study, where mobile communication costs 1.42% of average earnings. For comparison, in Poland this indicator is 0.64% (10th place), in Slovakia - 2.89% (104th place), and in Romania - 0.95% (27th place).
