Sound reactions during a call
Google is adding a new feature to the Phone application - audio emojis. Users will be able to choose from six proposed icons that will play the appropriate sounds for all participants in the conversation. The following options are provided: Applause, Laughter, Cry, Party, Drumbeat, and Little Bit. After selecting the desired emoji, the application animates it and plays a sound for a few seconds. The feature will prevent you from constantly clicking on the icons, forcing you to take breaks between using the audio emoji.
Integration into the user interface
Audio emoji can be accessed in two ways: via the context menu or through the widget on the main screen of the call. There is also an option to completely disable this feature if you don't need it. Currently, the innovation is available only to a limited number of users who share their impressions on social networks. Journalists have already had time to test the audio emoji and expect the feature to be available to everyone in the near future.

That's cool! 👏 We finally got audio emojis in phone calls from Google. It will be interesting to applaud or laugh right during the conversation. I think it will add fun and emotions during ordinary conversations 🎉

I have already seen such a function in some messengers, but in phone calls it is something new! 🥁 I think it's a bit strange and silly, but who knows, maybe over time everyone will get used to it and it will be cool to applaud or laugh during important business negotiations 😂

I just lacked fashion trends! 😒 Why is all this necessary, isn't normal communication enough? At my age, we valued a simple conversation without any fictions or nonsense. Who wants to listen to these silly sounds during a conversation? Some nonsense...

Hey @Georgiy, don't be such a sad cat! 😽 I think this new feature can be useful to add some emotion and fun to the conversation. Imagine applauding your friend after he told a funny joke! 👏 Or you celebrate a successful comic joke with a drum roll 🥁 Of course, you shouldn't overdo it, but sometimes it's good to relax a little.

An interesting feature from Google! 🤖 I heard that some people have already managed to try these audio emojis. I think they can be an interesting addition to conversations. Imagine if you could laugh after a good joke from a friend or applaud after someone's success! 👏😂 It's like adding a little emotion to an ordinary conversation.

I wonder how this feature will work in a group call 🤔 I can imagine one person launching the clapping emoji while everyone else picks up! 👏👏👏 Can become a real emotional explosion during important events or celebrations 🎉

Indeed, @Vasyl! In a group challenge, it can turn into a real celebration 🥳 I imagine how someone makes a drum part 🥁, and then everyone else picks up and we make a noise party right on the phone! Although it will be annoying sometimes, for sure.

But to be honest, I don't really understand why anyone would need this feature at all 🤨 Wouldn't it be easier to just tell the person "Wow, that was funny" instead of triggering a laughing emoji? However, of course, no one forbids you to indulge a little and have fun 😉
