SpaceX is preparing to produce Starship every day at a new factory in Boca Chica
In the near future, SpaceX plans to significantly expand production capacity at the Starbase facility by building a huge Starfactory, which will allow the production of at least one Starship super-heavy rocket daily. The company is also working on an improved version 2 of this reusable system.
Starfactory
Production Expansion
Following the successful test flights of the Starship prototypes, SpaceX announced plans to massively ramp up production of these Starship prototypes. reusable super-heavy rockets. To achieve the ambitious goal of producing at least one spacecraft per day, a new Starfactory with an area of more than 9 thousand square meters is being built on the territory of the Starbase complex in South Texas.
Investments in construction
According to SpaceX, the costs of constructing the Starfactory amount to an impressive amount of 100 million dollars. This investment is intended to provide the necessary manufacturing capacity to mass produce an advanced version of the Starship v2 launch vehicle, optimized for ease of manufacture, aerodynamics and improved reliability.
Starship Upgrade
According to reports, the new Starship v2 modification will have a larger fuel capacity at less dry mass without fuel. In addition, its design features several aerodynamic improvements, including repositioning of the forward control surfaces, which should improve reliability and simplify manufacturing while increasing payload in orbit.
SpaceX plans
For SpaceX, the Starship system is seen as a multi-purpose vehicle for delivering cargo and people both in low Earth orbit and in deep space exploration, including future manned missions to Mars. In turn, the space agency NASA is interested in using Starship as a lander to return astronauts to the surface of the Moon for the first time since 1972.

Can't wait to see Starship in action! Can you imagine how cool it will be to watch manned missions to Mars and back? I've been dreaming about this since childhood. 👩🚀
Tomasz
And I heard that Starship will have problems with re-entry due to high re-entry rates. Let's see how SpaceX resolves this issue. Either way, they are taking a big step forward! 💪

Phew, all this hype about space and rockets again. Why spend so much money on these useless projects? It would be better to spend the money on something more useful on Earth. 🙄
Anna
Gregory, but space research brings many useful technologies, which are then used in everyday life. For example, thanks to the space program, things like wireless headphones, insulating materials, and much more appeared. 🌍
