Innovative development
South Korean giant Samsung, known for its advanced technologies in the field of electronics , decided to expand the scope of his activities and created a unique batch of “smart” sneakers called Shortcut. This limited edition, consisting of only 9 pairs, was developed in collaboration with companies such as Cheil Benelux, Elitac Wearables, Brut Amsterdam, as well as famous sneaker designer Roel van Hoff.
Unique functionality
What makes the Shortcut sneakers special is that they can control Samsung smartphones through leg movements. Thanks to motion sensors built into the sole, the sneakers track their position relative to each other, allowing you to perform various actions on your smartphone using five unique movements. For example, you can moonwalk to make a call or tap dance to play music.
Exclusive Design
The Shortcut was designed by Roel van Hoff and is inspired by the Galaxy devices . The design of the shoes is reminiscent of meteors and stars, and every detail refers to Samsung Galaxy products. Thus, the company has created an exclusive model designed specifically for its fans from the Samsung Members community.

Samsung clearly had fun with this idea 😁 It’s a shame that the release is limited to only 9 pairs. I hope they continue to develop this concept!

Ugh, what are these unnecessary things for? 😒 The phone is in your hands - and all gestures are under control. Another pointless waste of money on useless fashion crafts.
