Updated design
Samsung has announced the release of new wireless headphones Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds 3. This time the manufacturer abandoned the unique design of the previous ones versions, giving the new products a resemblance to the popular Apple AirPods, especially in white.
Color options
In addition to classic white, both models are available in metallic gray, which evokes the futuristic design of the Tesla Cybertruck. According to Samsung's official statement, the new shape with a longer stem provides a more comfortable fit and a secure fit in the ear. It's interesting to note that the controls on the Galaxy Buds are now almost identical to those on the AirPods Pro.
Features of models
The flagship Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, priced at $249.99, features a thin LED light on each earbud that displays Bluetooth connection status and can be lit continuously. This version comes with silicone tips. On the other hand, the base Galaxy Buds 3 model, which costs $179.99, has an open design, which is ideal for those who don't like the sealed feeling in their ears.
Specifications
Both models are equipped with active noise cancellation. However, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro potentially offer better audio quality thanks to the presence of two-way speakers in each earbud, while the standard Buds 3 features single drivers. In addition, the Pro version received an adaptive noise reduction function, which automatically adjusts depending on the surrounding environment. When important sounds, such as sirens, are detected, noise reduction is temporarily disabled.
Protection and autonomy
The new Samsung headphones have IP57 protection against dust and moisture, and also support wireless charging. Samsung's proprietary Bluetooth codec is now capable of transmitting audio at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. Unfortunately, a full Multipoint feature is still missing - the headphones only offer automatic switching between Samsung devices.
Opening hours
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro demonstrate slightly increased battery life - up to 6 hours or 26 hours including charging from the case with ANC turned on. Galaxy Buds 3 are capable of working for 5 and 24 hours, respectively, or 6 and 30 hours with noise reduction turned off. Samsung claims a significant improvement in voice call quality thanks to the introduction of Ultra Wideband, a feature already included in the competing Pixel Buds Pro. Pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Buds 3 are already open, and official sales will start on July 24.

Wow, the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro look amazing! 🎧 I especially like the metallic gray version, reminiscent of the Cybertruck. I wonder how much the sound quality has improved?
Hans
Isabella, I agree, the design is impressive! I'm more interested in adaptive noise cancellation. The cool thing is that it automatically adjusts to its surroundings. I think this is a really useful feature for city life.
Amelie
Guys, I’m attracted to IP57 protection! You don't have to worry about getting caught in the rain or playing sports. Hans, you're right about noise cancellation - it's a must-have for traveling ✈️
Carlos
Amelie, I completely agree! What do you think about the price? $249.99 for the Pro version seems a little expensive, although the functionality is impressive. Maybe you should take a closer look at the regular version for $179.99? 🤔
Viktor
Ha, another show-off from Samsung. Why pay that kind of money for headphones that you will still lose or break in six months? It’s better to buy regular wired ones for 20 bucks and not worry about it.
Isabella
Viktor, I understand your skepticism, but technology does not stand still! The sound quality and ease of use are worth the money. Carlos, I think the Pro version is justified for those who often use headphones and value sound quality 🎵
Lena
And I was interested in the function of automatically turning off noise reduction for important sounds. This is super useful for safety on the street! 👍 Isabella, are you planning to buy?
Hans
Lena, I agree, safety comes first! I was also impressed by the operating time - 6 hours with ANC is very respectable. Viktor, have you ever thought that high-quality headphones can last for years if used correctly?
