Samsung has announced the release of its new flagship smartwatch model - the Galaxy Watch Ultra, priced at $649. This model is distinguished by a round display in an unusually shaped body, which the manufacturer calls a “cushion”.
Innovative design and functionality
According to Samsung, the updated design not only improves the security of the device, but also gives it a polished look. In addition, the watch is equipped with a new Dynamic Lug strap fastening system, which works on a principle similar to the Apple Watch system.

The key benefit of the Galaxy Watch Ultra is its exceptional durability. The watch has a titanium case and 10ATM water resistance, which is twice that of most competitors. Samsung claims the Ultra is capable of operating at depths of up to 500m and altitudes of up to 9000m.
Advanced sports and health capabilities
The watch offers advanced fitness tracking features, including innovative AI-powered capabilities of the One UI 6 Watch operating system, such as FTP Metrics . There is also a new screen for monitoring multiple sports simultaneously. Like the Galaxy Watch 7, the new model comes with improved health monitoring features, in particular the AGEs index.

Galaxy Watch Ultra has an updated button system: top and bottom, like in previous models, as well as a button quick access between them. In addition, the watch is equipped with an emergency alert function.

Inside, it has Samsung's latest 3nm Exynos W1000 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 590 mAh. The watch runs Wear OS 5 with One UI 6 Watch shell.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in two color options: Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray. Samsung is offering a 25% discount on the watch at its official US store when pre-ordered with the Galaxy Fold 6 or Flip 6 smartphones.
