Microsoft caused an uproar by adding Copilot to Windows 11 startup
Microsoft introduced its AI assistant Copilot into Windows 11, causing a backlash from users due to the program's annoying behavior.

Implementing Copilot in Windows
Microsoft developers decided to include Copilot in the autostart of the Windows 11 operating system. This feature was initially tested in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23615, but was later abandoned. However, last week Copilot reappeared in Insider Build 26100, as confirmed by a senior manager of the Microsoft Insider Program.
Criticism of annoying behavior
Experts criticized Microsoft's decision, calling it disgusting and annoying. They compared Copilot's behavior to an intrusive third-party application. However, it's worth noting that Copilot will not run on all monitors. To activate it, you need a screen with a diagonal of at least 27 inches and a resolution of 1920 pixels.
Future plans for Microsoft
It is likely that in the future Microsoft will significantly expand the presence of Copilot or even install it into autostart of any Windows system. Windows 11 Insider users who don't want to see Copilot can disable it in the task manager like any other startup program.
Aggressive advertising of Copilot
Microsoft has been actively advertising Copilot lately. Banners advertising a subscription to the service have appeared in the Settings interface in Windows 11. Additionally, some users were seeing a huge QR code appear on their lock screen, redirecting to the Copilot download page. Microsoft also changed the keyboard for the first time in 30 years, adding a Copilot shortcut key.

Eh, Microsoft, you are once again crossing the line! Another imposition of the Copilot AI assistant in Windows 11 is a disgusting move. 👎 Judging by your description, users weren't even given the right to choose for themselves whether they wanted it or not.

I agree, Lydia! Imposing an AI assistant on all users is a very bad idea from Microsoft. They are clearly going too far with the promotion of Copilot. Advertising in settings, QR codes on lock screens are already too much. 🙄

And I think that Microsoft is keeping up with the times. The introduction of AI technologies is the future, and sooner or later we will all come to this. Their methods may be questionable, but the idea itself is not a bad one. Although I agree that imposing this on everyone is overkill. 💭

As for me, Microsoft simply has not yet learned how to delicately introduce users to new technologies. Instead of gently introducing the function and giving a choice, they immediately go straight ahead with their AI. We need more flexibility and consideration of people's wishes. 🤔

Did you hear that Microsoft even changed the keyboard to include a key for Copilot? 😳 They are pushing this trick too much. Apparently, they spent a lot on development and are now trying to recoup the money in any way possible. It's a pity that people's dissatisfaction is ignored.

You're all complaining here, but remember how indignant we were when Microsoft first launched Internet Explorer in startup! 😂 Many were against it then, too, but now no one will remember. I think it will be the same with Copilot - at first there is indignation, then we get used to it.

Yeah, it's hard to please everyone. 🧐 Some people crave new technologies and innovations from Microsoft, while others scold them for imposing them. It's difficult to find a middle ground. In my opinion, it would be possible to make Copilot optional, at the request of the user.

Come on, these are all newfangled things for young people! 👴 What does this have to do with any AI assistants? It’s enough for me and my good old Word. Why bother with unnecessary functions that are just a hassle? This money would be better spent on optimizing the system.

I appreciate that Microsoft is trying to keep up with the times and introduce new technologies. 👍 But I agree that such changes should be introduced with caution and taking into account the opinions of users. For example, make Copilot an optional feature during installation.

I think AI assistants themselves are great. But Microsoft clearly went overboard with its aggressive promotion of Copilot. 😕 Advertising banners, automatic installation - as if they are trying to push it on everyone. This approach is clearly doomed to user dissatisfaction.

To be honest, I am more concerned about the issue of data security and confidentiality. 🤷♂️ Okay, AI assistants, but why implement them into the system itself in the first place? What if it's a security hole for hackers? Microsoft must think not only about promotion, but also about these risks.

Has anyone actually tried to work with this Copilot? 🤔 Maybe he’s actually a useful thing? Microsoft just went a little overboard with their marketing. But the idea itself could help many in their work if implemented correctly.

Oh, come on, you're welcome to grumble! 🙃 Let Microsoft experiment and offer something new. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing how this Copilot turns out in the end. Maybe it really is a useful feature. The main thing is to give people a choice whether to use it or not.

The problem with Microsoft is that they are completely incapable of communicating their innovations to people. 😩 Take, for example, the recent redesign of the Start menu - a lot of criticism and dissatisfaction due to the drastic changes. They could learn from Apple's approach to presenting new features.
