OPPO introduced the new Reno12 and Reno12 Pro smartphones with generative AI features for creativity and productivity, including improved cameras and image editing capabilities.

New OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro devices feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The screens have a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits and are protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 7i (Reno12) or Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 (Reno12 Pro). The case has a dust and moisture protection standard of IP65.
Powerful performance
Both smartphones are equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor (4 cores Cortex- A78 2.5 GHz + 4 cores Cortex-A55 2.0 GHz + GPU Mali-G615 MC2), 12 GB of RAM and built-in UFS 3.1 storage of 256 or 512 GB with the ability to expand the memory card. The devices are equipped with capacious 5000 mAh batteries with support for 80 W fast charging. There are also stereo speakers, but no headphone jack.
Advanced Cameras
The main difference between the models is the cameras. The Reno12 features a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera has a 32-megapixel sensor with autofocus. The Reno12 Pro features a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with autofocus.
AI features
Smartphones offer a range of AI-powered features to improve the quality of your photos and increasing creativity. AI Eraser makes it easy to remove strangers or objects from photos. AI Clear Face ensures the same makeup for each person in a group photo. AI Best Face can automatically recognize people with their eyes closed and "open" them. AI Studio is capable of creating digital avatars or artistic portraits.
To enhance productivity and creativity, features include AI Toolbox with AI Write, AI Speak and AI Summary. They allow you to recognize and process content on the screen for publishing on social networks or creating a text resume.
Design and Colors
The Reno12 series features a glass back panel with a Fluid Ripple texture that creates a 3D visualization of waves. The Reno12 Pro is available in Black Brown with an anti-fingerprint finish, Silver and Nebula Black for the Reno12 Pro with a dual-tone matte-glossy design.
Availability and price
The OPPO Reno12 Pro smartphone is already on sale in Ukraine at a price of UAH 24,999. The younger model OPPO Reno12 will become available later.
