Tariff increases
Shipping prices update
Since the beginning of October, the logistics company "Novaya Poshta" has adjusted the cost of its services. In particular, the changes affected tariffs for sending parcels, documentation and cargo items weighing over 30 kilograms.
On average, prices increased by 10-20 hryvnia. This increase affected both delivery services within populated areas and shipments throughout Ukraine.
Details of new tariffs
The following rates are now in effect for shipments within Ukraine:
- Parcels weighing up to 2 kg cost 80 UAH (previously 70 UAH)
- Parcels weighing up to 10 kg will cost 110 UAH (previously 100 UAH )
- For parcels up to 30 kg you need to pay 160 UAH (previously 140 UAH)
For delivery within one city, the following prices are set:
- Parcels up to 2 kg now cost 60 UAH (previously 50 UAH)
- Parcels up to 10 kg will cost 90 UAH (previously 80 UAH)
- For parcels up to 30 kg you will have to pay 140 UAH (previously 120 UAH)
Changes in other services
As for other services:
- The cost of sending documents is 65 UAH
- For cargo over 30 kg: additional when sending between offices in the same city 50 kopecks are charged for each kilogram in excess of the norm, and when sending between branches in Ukraine - one hryvnia per kilogram.
Compensatory measures
Representatives of Nova Poshta emphasize that some additional payments have been canceled . For example, there is no longer a declared value fee for returned shipments. At the same time, free options have been retained, such as forwarding throughout Ukraine, packaging in branded bags of various capacities and envelopes for documents, as well as the possibility of free return of goods to the seller if they are not suitable for the buyer.
Justification for the price increase
The official message of the company states : “During the full-scale war in Ukraine, prices for energy resources, which constitute a significant part of the cost of our services, as well as for other goods, have increased significantly. Thus, consumer prices increased by 7.5%, and the inflation rate reached 8.2%. Updating tariffs, we simultaneously introduce innovative technologies and improve the quality of services provided."
Changes among competitors
It is worth noting that not only Novaya Poshta has revised its tariffs. National operator "Ukrposhta" also announced changes in pricing policy. From October 1, the cost of postage stamps, including postage stamps, stamped envelopes and postcards, has increased. Now their sales are subject to VAT at a rate of 20%.

What news! 😮 New Post has raised rates again. Now sending a parcel up to 2 kg will cost 80 UAH. Do you think this will hit your pocket hard?
Hans
Yes, Olivia, this is a significant increase. But let's look at the situation more broadly - prices are rising everywhere, inflation is 8.2%. New mail must also survive somehow. Although, of course, for frequent senders this will be noticeable.
Marie
I agree with Hans. In addition, they left some free options, such as packaging in branded bags. This is at least some savings 💼
Carlos
But it seems to me that 10-20 UAH is not such a big difference. The main thing is that the quality of services does not decline. I'm willing to pay a little more for reliable delivery 📦
Giovanni
Eh, young people... All your mail, parcels... Previously, we lived without this and nothing, it was normal. And now they charge money for every nonsense. Unnecessary fuss is all.
Anna
Giovanni, how can we live without parcels nowadays? 😄 Especially now when many purchases are made online. By the way, does anyone know how the competitors are doing? Maybe there are cheaper options?
Piotr
Anna, good question! I heard that Ukrposhta also raised prices, but for postage stamps. Maybe it’s worth comparing the rates of different delivery services? 🤔
Olivia
Great idea, Piotr! Let's collect information about the tariffs of different services and share it here. This way we can choose the most profitable option for each case 👍
