The Nova Poshta Group is launching its own energy production company, which will engage in solar and gas generation to meet the growing needs of the holding and ensure its energy independence against the background of Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian holding "Novaya Poshta", a leader in the field of express delivery, is expanding its activities and enters the electricity production market. For this purpose, a separate company, New Energy, was created. The co-founder of the group, Vladimir Popereshnyuk, announced this on his Facebook page.
Development plans
According to Popereshnyuk, the new company will be engaged in regular energy production using solar and gas generation. The launch of our own energy business is due to the urgent need to strengthen energy independence in connection with Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
Call to entrepreneurs
Vladimir Popereshnyuk expressed confidence that other Ukrainian companies will follow the example " Nova Poshta" and will begin to invest in the development of energy in Ukraine. He also called on the authorities not to create regulatory obstacles to such initiatives, emphasizing that entrepreneurs will be able to quickly create the necessary capacity to meet the needs of the economy.
Energy crisis
Currently, the Nova Poshta group provides 60% of its fuel needs with its own resources. Popereshnyuk named government regulation of the industry, in particular the moratorium on price increases, as one of the reasons for the energy crisis in Ukraine.
