Musk's Neuralink aims to recruit three patients for revolutionary brain research
Neuralink, a company founded by Elon Musk, plans to expand clinical trials of a brain implant by enrolling three more patients in the study. The goal of the project is to give paralyzed people the ability to control digital devices using their thoughts.

Study details
The company aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed neurointerface during a clinical trial that will last several years. The initial phase is scheduled to end in 2026, and the full study in 2031. Participants will be patients aged 22 to 75 years with quadriplegia - complete or partial paralysis of four limbs.
Participant Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate limited mobility without improvement for at least a year, expected life expectancy of at least one year, as well as complete or partial absence of hand, wrist and forearm movements due to spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Preliminary results
Previously, Neuralink received FDA approval to continue testing, after resolving the issue, that occurred in the first patient – the exit of threads with electrodes from the brain tissue. The company currently plans to implant the chip in a second participant as early as June 2024, despite criticism for not disclosing details of the study.

Interesting topic with brain chips from Neuralink! Do you think such an experimental technology should be trusted? 🤔 On the one hand, it can help people with paralysis, but on the other hand, it is an intervention in the brain.

To be honest, I would not participate in such studies. Why risk your health and life for the unknown technologies of Elon Musk? 🧐 It is better to wait until everything is tested well.

I think scientists should continue to explore such innovations. Thanks to them, people with disabilities will be able to improve their lives! 💪 Of course, you need to be careful, but you can't stand still.

Have you ever wondered how it would actually work? Imagine being able to control a computer with the power of thought! 🤯 Neurointerface is the future, so why not give it a try?

This is all nonsense! 😠 People are losing their minds because of another PR of Mask. Instead of spending billions on silly things, it would be better to solve the real problems of humanity!

Evgeny, why the nonsense? On the contrary, such technology can make a revolution in medicine! 💡 Imagine how many people will be able to get a new life thanks to her.

I keep my fingers crossed for the successful implementation of Neuralink! 🤞 I hope that Musk will not give up and continue this project. There is nothing cooler in technology right now. 🔥

I can't even imagine how difficult it will be to provide cyber security for such sensitive devices connected to the human brain. 😬 You need to be extremely careful here!
