Recruiting agency Lobby X conducted a study of the demand for IT vacancies in the military sphere of Ukraine. The results showed high competition among candidates, especially in the field of software development.

According to the data of the recruiting agency Lobby X, published on the DOU platform, an average of 86 candidates apply for one IT vacancy in the Ukrainian army. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the agency has posted 318 such vacancies, which have collected 27,200 resumes.
The most popular IT areas
The category IT Development is in the greatest demand, where 115 vacancies were published. It is followed by IT Support & Security with 59 vacancies, IT Management & Project Management with 32 vacancies and Data & Analytics with 25 vacancies.
Current situation on the market of military IT vacancies
Currently, more than 92 current IT vacancies in the Defense Forces of Ukraine are available on the Lobby X platform. According to the number of reviews, this category ranks second, second only to "Staff Work".
Development of military recruiting
- In November last year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine launched a project to recruit personnel to ZSU, whose first partner was the Lobby X platform.
- In the first two months, about 37,500 reviews were received through the Work.ua, Lobby X, Robota.ua and OLX Robota platforms for military vacancies.
- As of the end of March, the total number of responses to vacancies in the Defense Forces through recruiting platforms reached almost 146 thousand.
New opportunities for searching for military vacancies
Recently, the Ministry of Defense launched a specialized site "Be yourself " to search for vacancies in the army. The portal allows you to filter vacancies by type of military, specialty, rank and terms of service, although currently only one condition is available - transfer.
