On May 1, a large-scale DDoS attack was carried out on the application of the domestic financial service monobank attack Oleg Horokhovsky, one of the founders, informed about this event in his Telegram channel.
At 12:26 on the same day, mono representatives reported a malfunction in the application. However, specialists managed to restore the operation of the application in half an hour.
Previous incidents
Earlier, on April 1 of this year, neobank also suffered a powerful cyber attack, as a result of which its application was unavailable to users for several hours.
In January 2024, the monobank financial service experienced two waves of large-scale DDoS attacks, which, however, were successfully repelled.
