Microsoft is testing Start Menu ads on Windows 11 in the US: new features and capabilities
In the new test image of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build, ads for Windows Store apps have appeared in the Start menu, but only for US users so far. The update also includes a number of other changes and improvements.

Microsoft is testing a new way to push Windows software into beta -channels. Advertisements for applications from the Windows Store appeared in the "Recommended" section of the "Start" menu. However, this feature is only being tested among insiders in the United States and will not be available on commercial devices.
Advertising settings
If users do not want to see ads, they can turn them off. To do this, go to Settings, select Personalization, Start, and turn off the "Show recommendations for tips, app ads, etc." switch.
