The well-known Maltese creative agency BRND WGN, which already has offices in Malta and Great Britain, decided to expand its geography by opening a branch in Ukraine. The management of the new office was entrusted to experienced Ukrainian specialists - Tona Kondakova, who assumed the position of art director, and Dmytro Horbenko, who became a copywriter. Both specialists previously worked at the Ukrainian creative agency I AM IDEA.
Strategy and Randomness
It is interesting that the opening of the Ukrainian office of BRND WGN was the result of both strategic planning and an unexpected coincidence of circumstances. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Tonya Kondakova found a job at BRND WGN, which prompted the agency's management to consider investing in the Ukrainian market.
BRND WGN CEO Peter-Jan Grech expressed his vision: "We strive to create a stable company in Ukraine that will develop and prosper for many years, relying on the talent of local specialists."
History and achievements
BRND WGN, founded in 2006 in Malta, during has gained a reputation as a reliable partner for clients from different parts of the world, including Europe, Great Britain, the USA and Canada.
It is worth noting that I AM IDEA, where the new heads of the Ukrainian office of BRND WGN came from, celebrated its five-year anniversary in 2023. The founder of the agency Ihor Finashkin previously shared with ELBUZ the history of the company's creation and talked about its projects.
Dmytro Horbenko and Tonya Kondakova, working together in I AM IDEA as a creative tandem, created a number of successful projects for famous brands, including WOG, Robota.ua, Intertop, Comfy, Metro, Toy House and Kovalska.
