The National Bank of Ukraine established the following official exchange rates of major foreign currencies on May 7 hryvnias: US dollar – UAH 39.3561 (decreased by UAH 0.17), euro – UAH 42.3983 (increased by UAH 0.08). Also, the exchange rates of the Polish zloty are UAH 9.8120, the pound sterling is UAH 49.4982, and the yuan is UAH 5.4609.

The following commercial rates have been established for cash currency exchange on May 7: US dollar - purchase UAH 39.65, sale UAH 39.8; euro - purchase 42.7 UAH, sale 42.9 UAH; Polish zloty - purchase UAH 9.77, sale UAH 9.89; pounds sterling - purchase 49.3 UAH, sale 49.9 UAH; yuan - purchase 5 UAH, sale 5.4 UAH.
Long-term forecast of the IMF
According to the updated data of the International Monetary Fund, until the end of 2024 the US dollar will cost 41 hryvnias. In the future, a gradual devaluation of the national currency is expected, and by 2029 the exchange rate will reach 54.1 UAH per US dollar. The projected gradual growth of the dollar exchange rate: 2025 - 45.8 UAH, 2026 - 48.6 UAH, 2027 - 50.4 UAH, 2028 - 52.1 UAH.
