Norwegian enthusiasts from the Nerdforge team have created a desktop computer with an integrated apparatus for roasting, grinding beans and preparing fresh coffee.

Original functionality
The Nerdforge YouTube channel presents a fully functional desktop PC equipped with a coffee machine, coffee grinder and roasting unit. Thanks to this development, the user can enjoy freshly brewed coffee with milk without leaving the table. The device will quickly fry, sweep the grains and prepare a flavorful drink.
Project work
Channel creators Martina and Hansi are known for their non-standard and complex projects in the field of handicrafts. For example, Martina made her own prosthetic little finger. The team worked most of April to create the coffee shop computer. In addition to mechanisms for roasting, grinding and preparing coffee, the authors of the project lined the Corsair 1000D body with wood panels.
Design and components
The entire structure is made around the coffee system, and the computer components and visual design remained in the background. To avoid universal, in the opinion of the developers, low-quality solutions, the finished coffee grinder and coffee maker were disassembled and connected to Arduino for control and synchronization. The system contains sensors that guarantee the presence of a cup in the device while pouring coffee. The PC is based on an Intel i7-14700K processor and an NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti video card, which allows you to comfortably play on it.

Some commenters noted potential shortcomings with this build due to the combination of food and computer components. There is a risk of increased humidity and heat inside the enclosure. However, an effective PC air cooling system solves this problem. Concerns have also been raised about dust accumulation in the computer.
