- Thanks to this collaboration, restaurants using ChoiceQR services will be able to use acquiring from monobank to process payments for delivery and takeout orders.
- Until now, restaurants had a choice between acquiring PrivatBank or Fondy, but the latter service was blocked at the end of April by the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine.
- In turn, Expirenza is integrating some of ChoiceQR's functionality, including an online menu, into its app. This will give restaurants the flexibility to choose an online menu platform, whether it's ChoiceQR's own solution or Expirenza.
Market challenges and prospects
This partnership is taking place against the backdrop of complexities in the restaurant industry. Since the beginning of 2024, ChoiceQR has lost about 500 customers, mostly due to facility closures. For comparison, in foreign markets, the startup lost only 90 restaurants due to their closure in six months, which is five times less than in Ukraine.
The previously competing products ChoiceQR and Expirenza can now be used together. This partnership opens opportunities for both services to increase their customer base.
