Intel Core i9-14901KE: A revolution in the world of processors without E-cores
Intel introduced a new line of 14th generation Core processors without power-efficient cores designed for embedded systems. These chips, which have only performance cores, are available in various configurations and powers.

Soon after information appeared about Intel processors for the LGA-1700 socket without energy-efficient cores, the company officially announced their release. However, this happened within the current 14th generation and not as previously expected.
Development Background
Intel's plans for the LGA-1700 socket, including the Bartlett Lake-S family of processors, were recently leaked. It was assumed that these chips would have a hybrid Alder Lake / Raptor Lake architecture with performance (P) and energy-efficient (E) cores, as well as a completely new die with only P-cores. It turned out that the latter concept was already implemented on the basis of Raptor Lake.
Characteristics of new models
Intel has announced the specifications of the new series of Core processors. Their names are similar to the existing ones, but have an additional number "1" at the end and the letter "E". The lineup includes three Core i9, two Core i7 and four Core i5 models:

Purpose

Technical features
The flagship model i9-14901KE has an increased base clock frequency, 600 MHz higher than its predecessors - 3.8 GHz, but has a lower maximum frequency - 5.8 GHz instead of 6.0 GHz. Also presented are F-variants without integrated graphics and T-models with a TDP of 45 W instead of the standard 35 W for custom chips. Intel reports that the new processors are already in production.

Das ist ganz klar eine weiter möglichkeit von Intel defekte CPUs weiterzuverwenden. In manchen fällen kann es vorkommen das z.b. die E-Cores defekt sind und die P-core funktionieren. Das könnte unteranderen auch der grund sein warum diese Prozessoren nur für eingebettete Systeme gedacht sind, Intel hat schlicht nicht die Massenproduktion für diese Model es handelt sich ja nur um "schrott cpus" die sonst entsorgt werden müssten.
