Colorful design and accessories
After a long wait, HMD has finally presented its new product - a Barbie-style flip phone. This model, reminiscent of the Nokia 2660 Flip, features an updated appearance and a number of software improvements. As expected, the design is dominated by pink, red and crimson colors, emphasizing the Barbie theme.
The package includes a pink 1450 mAh removable battery, a USB-C cable of the same color, a special screen cleaning cloth and other accessories. Buyers will also receive two interchangeable back panels, an original beaded strap, charms and Barbie stickers.
Specifications
The HMD Barbie phone features a 2.8-inch main screen and a secondary 1.77-inch display on the outside of the body. The device is based on a Unisoc T107 processor, complemented by 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal memory. There is an option to expand the storage by 32GB using a microSD card.
Among other characteristics, it is worth noting the presence of a VGA camera (0.3 MP), Bluetooth 5 module, 3.5 mm headphone jack and USB-C port for charging and transferring data.
Software and Features
In most markets, the phone will run the S30+ operating system, and a KaiOS version has been developed for the US. HMD has adapted the device interface, adding unique icons, wallpapers and ringtones in the style of Barbie.
The model features features aimed at the user's well-being: digital health tips, the Barbie Meditation app, and self-care reminders.
Availability and Pricing
The HMD Barbie Phone is on sale now, priced at $129, €129 or £99. The American version with KaiOS is expected in October.

Wow, HMD Barbie Phone! 😍 This is just every girl’s dream. A pink flip phone with Barbie accessories sounds amazing! I wonder how easy it is to use?
Hans
Isabella, I agree, it looks interesting! But I was more interested in the technical characteristics. 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal memory are very little by modern standards. 🤔 Although it’s probably enough for simple use.
Sophie
Did you guys notice that it has a digital wellness tips feature and a meditation app? 🧘♀️ I think this is a great idea for a children's phone!
Giovanni
Sophie, this is a really cool feature! But I'm surprised by the price - $129 seems a bit expensive for such a simple phone. Although, probably, the Barbie brand explains a lot 💰
Viktor
Barbie phone? Seriously? 🙄 Another useless toy that will gather dust on the shelf in a week. It would be better to do something really useful, and not these pink trinkets.
Isabella
Viktor, don't be so harsh! This phone could be a great first device for girls. Simple, safe and stylish - what more do you need? 😊

I think this is a great idea for collectors! 📱 Imagine how cool it will look next to other vintage phones. And it would be fun to wear it as an accessory!
Marta
Pierre, exactly! 😃 This could also be a cool gift for those who grew up with Barbie and want a little nostalgia. I wouldn’t even refuse such a cute phone number myself!
