Nova Group founded a new company, Nova Energy, to provide its own electricity generation, which will increase the autonomy of its facilities, particularly from solar and gas sources, in response to Russian missile strikes on the Ukrainian power system.

Nova group of companies, which includes Nova post", created the enterprise "Nova Energy" to develop its own power generation capacities. This initiative was a response to missile attacks by Russian troops on Ukrainian energy facilities. The goal of the newly created company is the development of autonomous power generation sources, in particular solar and gas, to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Nova infrastructure.
Call for the development of independent generation
Nova founder Volodymyr Popereshniuk expressed hope that others Ukrainian enterprises will follow the example of their group and organize their own electricity generation. According to him, provided there are no obstacles in the regulation of fuel prices and prohibitions, business will be able to quickly create the capacities necessary for the functioning of the economy.
Nova Initiatives for Energy Independence
Earlier, at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, when attacked Ukrainian refineries and oil depots, Nova has taken measures to strengthen fuel security. The company purchased gasoline trucks, tanks, containers and filling stations, which allowed to provide 60% of its own fuel needs.
In addition, in the fall and winter of 2022, during the first wave of missile strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Nova equipped its branches and sorting centers with generators and batteries.
