Fenix 8: A Technological Breakthrough
The new Garmin Fenix 8, starting at $1,000, now comes with a built-in speaker and microphone, allowing you to take calls right from your wrist. In addition, the device responds to voice commands and supports communication through the Garmin Messenger app. These features were previously available on the Venu 2 Plus.
Displays and battery life
For the first time in the Fenix line, versions with an AMOLED screen appeared in sizes 43, 47 and 51 mm. Models with MIP Solar display, equipped with an advanced solar panel, are also available in sizes 47 and 51 mm. The latter provide impressive autonomy - 29 and 48 days, respectively, which significantly exceeds the standard Fenix 8 models with indicators from 10 to 29 days.
Fenix 8 improvements
The new model has waterproof metal buttons, an LED flashlight and an ECG function , previously introduced in Fenix 7 Pro and Epix Pro. The developers also added advanced fitness features for strength training, specialized diving options and an updated map interface.
Enduro 3: Durability and functionality
The $900 Enduro 3 inherits a number of features from the Fenix 8, including built-in flashlight, advanced strength training programs, Garmin Messenger app and ECG function. Particularly noteworthy is the solar battery, which provides up to 90 days of battery life and an impressive 320 hours in GPS mode.
Both models are available to order now, with the Fenix 8 starting at $999.99 and the Enduro 3 starting at $899.99.

Wow, the Fenix 8 looks impressive! 😍 The built-in speaker and microphone are something I missed in previous models. Now you can answer calls directly from your watch, it’s so convenient!
Hans
I agree, Natalia! And I was most interested in the Amoled display. I wonder how it will affect the time of autonomous work? 🤔
Sophie
Guys, did you pay attention to Enduro 3? 320 hours in GPS mode - it's just incredible! 😱 is ideal for long trips and ultramarathons.
Giovanni
Sophie, you're right! I'm just planning to participate in an ultramarathon in a couple of months. Enduro 3 could be a great choice. And the LED flashlight is a nice bonus for night training. 🏃♂️🌙

Stop this nonsense! Another fancy watch that will be outdated in a year. Better buy regular mechanical ones - they will still be relevant in 50 years. And all these GPS and ECGs are just marketing ploys.
Natalia
Victor, don't be such a skeptic! 😄 These technologies really help in training and monitor health. Thanks to my Garmin, I improved the results in 10 km running!
Hans
Speaking of new features, has anyone tried Garmin Messenger? I wonder how easy it is to use? 🤳
Sophie
Hans, I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds promising! Especially for those who often train outdoors. Safety first! 👍 In general, I am delighted with how Garmin continues to develop its devices. Each new model is a real step forward.
