Google has expanded a charitable program for training artificial intelligence for Ukrainians affected by changes in the labor market, with a total budget of 700,000 euros.

Google.org’s charitable division has made the AI Opportunity Fund: Europe program available in Ukraine , which he reported on his blog. This initiative aims to help workers who are most affected by the transformations in the labor market caused by the development of artificial intelligence.
Registration of participants
Applications for participation in the program are already open and will last until June 28 2024 year. The registration form and detailed information are available at link. All non-profit organizations that work with people who need to learn how to use artificial intelligence tools at work can join. Among them:
- public organizations;
- social enterprises;
- trade unions;
- industry associations;
- municipal institutions;
- charitable funds;
- professional associations, etc.
Selection and Award
Google.org will select participants through an open competitive selection process. The winners will receive specialized training programs in the Ukrainian language, which will cover basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, as well as support and consulting. The total budget of AI Opportunity Fund: Europe for Ukraine is EUR 700,000, which includes sub-grants and training programs.
