Opera One for iPhone: AI assistant, image generator and voice input in your pocket
The innovative Opera One browser with integrated artificial intelligence is now available to iOS users, offering a minimalistic interface, an easy-to-use search bar and Aria AI assistant for a variety of tasks.
Opera One for iOS
Intuitive design
After a successful beta testing period, the new Opera browser with built-in artificial intelligence has become generally available to owners of iOS devices. Opera One has adopted the laconic interface from its desktop version, automatically hiding unnecessary elements to ensure a comfortable viewing experience. For example, when scrolling a page, the browser hides the top and bottom panels, providing the user with full-screen mode.
Ease of use
The search bar is located at the bottom of the screen for easy access and includes integration with the Aria AI assistant. The developers have also introduced a new gesture that allows you to activate the panel with a slight swipe of your finger down, which is reminiscent of searching for applications through Spotlight on the iPhone's home screen.
Artificial Intelligence Capabilities
According to Opera, the AI-powered Aria assistant is capable of performing a wide range of tasks: from searching information on the Internet (with voice control) to creating text content and generating images using Google's Imagen2 model.
Additional features
The browser's start page brings together the latest news and product recommendations. Opera One also comes with a built-in ad blocker, a free VPN service, and several theme options.
Availability
Opera One for iOS came out just over a year after the PC version was released. The browser can now be downloaded for free from the App Store.

Wow, Opera has released a new AI browser for iOS! 🤖 I wonder how much more convenient it really is than regular Safari?
Sophie
Sounds cool! Particularly impressive is the feature that hides panels when scrolling. Liam, have you tried it yet?
Liam
Not yet, Sophie, but I really want to! I was interested in the possibility of voice control of the AI assistant. Convenient when your hands are full 🙌
Giovanni
What appeals to me most is the built-in VPN. It's always good to have an extra layer of safety when surfing 🏄♂️
Helga
Another useless toy. Why do we need AI in the browser? Just waste resources. Good old Safari suits me completely.
Pierre
Helga, AI can be very useful! For example, for quickly analyzing information or creating content. I would love to try the image generation feature 🎨
Marta
And I like the idea of a gesture to activate search, like in Spotlight. Convenient and intuitive! Well done Opera for thinking about user convenience 👍
Liam
I agree with Pierre and Marta! It seems like Opera really tried to do something innovative. I’ll definitely have to test it and compare it with other browsers 🧐
