PrivatBank announced the launch of the Energy Sources lending program. This initiative is aimed at supporting Ukrainian citizens who want to install solar and wind power plants. Information about this appeared in the bank's official statement.
Government support and conditions
The project is being implemented with the assistance of the government and the Entrepreneurship Development Fund. From July 20, 2024, every Ukrainian will have the opportunity to obtain a loan for the purchase of alternative sources of electricity. It is noteworthy that the state undertakes to fully compensate the interest rate.
Who can use the program?
An interest-free loan is available to individuals - clients of PrivatBank. Funds can be used to purchase and install solar or wind hybrid power systems with a capacity of up to 10 kW. Important condition: the systems must be installed in your own residential building or cottage with an area of no more than 250 square meters.
Lending conditions
As part of the Energy Sources program, PrivatBank provides loans without collateral for a period of 1 to 5 years. Clients can expect an amount from 100 thousand to 480 thousand hryvnia. In this case, an advance payment of at least 10% of the cost of the equipment is required.
Application process
You can apply for a soft loan from July 20, 2024 on the official website of PrivatBank in the section "Credits". To do this, you need to select the “Energy Sources” program and use the loan calculator, indicating the total cost of purchasing a hybrid power supply system. The bank promises to provide a preliminary decision on issuing a loan within two minutes.
