Stellantis Acquires CloudMade AI Product with Ukrainian Team: Revolutionizing Automotive Software
Dutch car manufacturer Stellantis has acquired British AI product CloudMade, which is used to develop software for their cars. The details of the deal are not disclosed, but according to the "Overheard-IT" channel, the value of the deal may reach several million dollars.
On January 24, Stellantis officially announced the acquisition of AI product CloudMade on its website. According to data, the company has recruited 44 CloudMade engineers and developers who are engaged in the development of artificial intelligence. CloudMade's founder and CTO, Jim Brown, said they are very pleased with the deal.
CloudMade's goal
The acquisition of CloudMade will significantly accelerate the development of STLA SmartCockpit and help achieve the Dare Forward 2030 goal, said Stellantis Software Director, Yves Bonnefon.
“Using this adaptive technology and leveraging our vehicle fleet, we will be able to create intelligent mobility solutions faster and more flexibly to satisfy our customers with customized in-car and mobile experiences devices".

- Diagnostics to identify and plan vehicle maintenance needs and provide alerts.

The Stellantis car concern unites brands such as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, etc. Earlier, Stellantis also acquired the Hungarian company aiMotive, which specializes in the development of software for artificial intelligence and autonomous driving.
