Anthropic, an American startup in the field of artificial intelligence, presented the long-awaited Claude application for Android devices. According to information published on the company's official blog, the app's functionality is identical to the iOS and web platform versions.
Features and Availability
The app provides free access to the newly updated Claude 3.5 Sonnet model. In addition, it supports all existing plans, including Pro and Team. Ukrainian users can download the application from Google Play and fully use its capabilities.
To start working with the application, you need to create an account or log in to an existing one. The system automatically synchronizes the user's previous requests if the login is made from a personal account.
Anthropic Achievements
Behind Anthropic are Dario and Daniela Amodei, former OpenAI employees and brother and sister. Recently, their large language model Claude 3 Opus achieved significant success, beating OpenAI's GPT-4 for the first time in the Chatbot Arena ranking on March 26. This rating is widely used by AI researchers to evaluate the potential of language models.
It is worth noting that in May of this year, the Claude chatbot became available to users in Europe, expanding its global presence.
