The "Currencies and rates" directory is intended for storing a list of currencies and their rates.
To enter the directory, select " Directories " and go to " Currencies and rates "

Base currency (default currency).
For the entire database in the directory, the default currency is set, for accounting in a single currency, regardless of the currencies used in the price lists of suppliers. There can only be one default currency. The default exchange rate is always one(1). All supplier prices will be converted to the main currency specified in the directory. In the "Main currency" column, the checkbox for the currency that is the main one is checked.
The "Currencies and Rates" directory stores exchange rates with an accuracy of up to eight decimal places, this allows you to calculate the prices of products without tangible errors (the prices of products in the database are also stored with an accuracy of up to eight decimal places).
Exchange rates should be set from the main currency set in the directory.
For example:
Main currency: Russian rubles.
Course €: 45. 54 rubles for 1 EURO
Exchange rate €: 33. 82 rubles for 1 US dollar
Main currency: US dollar.
Course €: 1. 3465 EUR for 1 EURO
Russian ruble exchange rate: 0. 0295 EUR cents per 1 ruble
