Donated already a billion euros
Oleg Horokhovskyi, co-owner of the Ukrainian neo-bank monobank, reported on the collected sum of already a billion euros during a full-scale banking war. This war became the reason for the donation of European capital to the bank. According to calculations, 43,681,445,836 hryvnias were collected.
"Compliments are already plagiarism. Sincere gratitude to be a participant in this project," Horokhovsky said.
Noticeable increase in donations
Over the last year, Ukrainian citizens made a significant amount of donations to monobank, almost three times more than last year. Bank statistics show that 27.4 billion hryvnias were transferred to charity in 2023, compared to 8.5 billion hryvnias in 2022. The bank also introduced a new feature called "combat tips" that allows you to leave tips.
This year, "PrivatBank" also launched a similar service, known as "envelopes", for its customers in monobank.
