The official launch of the long-awaited Apple Vision Pro virtual reality headset took place in the USA in the prison Apple CEO Tim Cook personally visited the company's store on Fifth Avenue in New York to celebrate the release of a new product. He called Vision Pro "the technology of the future, available today." The price of the headset starts at $3,500.

Cook said Vision Pro has also attracted interest from enterprises such as Walmart, Nike, Vanguard, Stryker, Bloomberg and SAP. They started using and investing in the headset as a platform for customers and employees.
Earlier this week, Apple reported results for its fiscal first quarter that beat expectations for revenue and profit. Apple's wearable business, including the Vision Pro, Apple Watch and AirPods, beat expectations, although wearable sales fell 11% year over year. Analysts, however, do not expect the Vision Pro headset to generate significant profits initially.
