Rating of the most respected companies in the world
Compiling the rating
Every year, Fortune magazine creates a rating of the most respected companies in the world , whose revenue exceeds $10 billion. In total, the list includes 1,500 companies, of which 1,000 are from the United States, excluding states. The list is then narrowed down to 50 after analyzing nearly 4,000 executives, directors and analysts. During the assessment, factors such as investment value, managerial quality, social responsibility and others are taken into account.
Top 3 leaders
For the first time in the history of the rating, Apple took the leading position, demonstrating high social responsibility, financial sustainability, innovation and international competitiveness. Microsoft moved up to second place after spending a year at the top spot in software. Amazon, in turn, lost one position, but still has leadership results in the field of Internet services and retail trade.
Other successful companies
Moving up two spots, Google owner Alphabet took seventh place. Nvidia's AI also performed better and entered the top 10 leaders for the first time. The manufacturer of COVID vaccines, Moderna, was also included in the ranking, taking 37th place.
